How we charted it

The challenge

Atlas dispatchers reconciled fleet status by hand across a dozen spreadsheets. Decisions lagged reality by hours, and there was no single source of truth.

Our approach

  1. 01

Built an ingestion pipeline on Kafka that absorbs 2.1M telemetry events a day without breaking a sweat.

  2. 02

Stored events in ClickHouse for sub-second analytics and rendered them on a live map with optimistic, conflict-free updates.

  3. 03

Wrote runbooks and dashboards so the ops team owns the system with confidence.

The outcome

Dispatchers now work from one live picture. Decision latency dropped from hours to seconds, and exception handling is proactive instead of reactive.

Why this stack

Go for the throughput-critical ingestion, ClickHouse for fast aggregates, and a React control surface that stays responsive at scale.
